And than you'll find out that the keys are more worth than most items you find, unless you're in a high level area.

its completely luck on drops. i have terrible luck with items, but i got 2 black dyes in the same run once, so its all luck. my other theory is that when you created an account, they gave your characters a code where your drops are already chosen for you(this applies to mods on the weapon). I don't know if that is right though.

Each character has a secret "luck" attribute, so if you find that one character is particularly unlucky, just delete him or her and try creating another one.

I think this myth does has some basis behind it, because most of my good items are found by my ele.

well if your new then don't complain yet. I've been palying since around when the game came out and no greens ever drop for me no matter what character i use and how many times i try to get a green, and whenever i get golds from a chest they are crap altho recently its gotten better and i finally got some nice weaps. Anyway its pure luck and I don't think it has anything to do with what characters you're playing.

the major difference between D2 and GW, is that, in GW u can get perfect stats on very cheap items (collectors or from crafters). the only difference between most of the ultra rare ones (theres a crystalline sword reaching 50million as of now) and the collectors ones, is their skin..
u can get an item for like 300g worth of collector stuff with the same stats as a 300k++++ one

just a thought for u

Loot.....do it a lot. Its trial and error and random. The more you loot the higher chance you have of getting a good drop. I dont believe there is such a thing as a secret luck code built into your character at creation that sounds like bull plop to me.

I think im getting screwed by the anti-farming code personally

I just want the damn staff that Flower Spiritgarden drops and for shit kid you not ive killed the prick 60+ times now with a 4 man group and not one single green drop...

its nice and all that they dont want people farming and ruining the econemy but for sure i think this anti-farming code is ruining the game experience of many more than the econemy has

Drops are random HOWEVER different areas get better drops then other. The best area is the UW or FoW.
